Challenge Accepted!
A set of 6 challenge cards
Six different challenges at Key Stage , mixing subjects and challenge types — cut them out and keep them in a pot on the table for anyone who finishes early.
How to use
For a pupil who has finished their task early and needs something genuinely engaging — not just "more of the same".
- Choose a subject and Key Stage — or pick "Any subject / General" for a lateral-thinking or creative task that works whatever they're studying.
- Choose Quick Challenge (a few minutes, great for the last five minutes of a lesson) or Deep Challenge (a substantial extension task for a fast finisher who needs more of a stretch).
- Add an optional topic (e.g. "fractions" or "the water cycle") to make the challenge more specific to today's lesson — or leave it blank and it will still make sense.
- Click Generate Challenge and display it on the board, or click Generate Again for a different one — it won't repeat the challenge you just had.
- Click Print a set of 6 cards to build a printable set of six different challenge cards with cut lines, ready to keep in a "challenge pot" on a table for pupils to grab whenever they finish early.
