What this practises: blending individual letter sounds together to build and spell simple, decodable three-letter words.

Suggested age range: approximately 3–5 years, especially children who are already confident spotting beginning sounds.

How adults can help: look at the picture together and say the word slowly, stretching out each sound ("c...a...t") before your child chooses the letter tiles. There's no audio in this game, so your voice does the job!
